Serzh Sargsyan believes Armenia can benefit from normalized relations with Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of a pan-Armenian tour, the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Los Angeles on October 4, where he met with representatives of the Armenian community of the U.S. West Coast and Latin America. During the meeting the Armenian President touched upon the process of normalization of the Armenia-Turkey relations and initialed Protocols. Since its independence Armenia has been in talks with Turkey, but only recently the results of negotiations were publicized, the president of Armenia said. "I believe it is possible to carry out normal negotiations and establish normal relations with Turkey, and not to suffer, but benefit," Serzh Sargsyan said. 



After the meeting in the Beverly Hill Hilton hotel a dinner was organized, which was attended by over 500 representatives of the Armenian community. "All our thoughts, feelings, even anger and outburst, heated arguments and calm discussions, silent work and the protest have the same goal: to see the future Armenia stronger, more beautiful, more florishing and to see the Armenians more united. We are unite not only by our roots, but also through the national ideas, "Serzh Sargsyan said, press office of the President of Armenia reports.
