BATE comes 3rd in Sochi Soccer Cup

The Belarusian club BATE, where an Armenian forward Hovhannes Goharyan plays met with Zhemchizhina (Sochi) at the Sochi Soccer Cup international tournament, in the match for the 3rd place and won with a score of 2 : 0. Goals were scored by Vitali Rodionov and Artem Limit.



In the first match of the tournament BATE lost to Austria, which will meet on February 6 in the final match with Victoria.



FC BATE is a Belarusian football club from the town of Borisov. The team was founded in 1973, reconstituted in 1996. The first Belarusian club, reached the group stage of the Champions League and the League of Europe.

BATE is a multiple champion of Belarus (1999, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008), silver winner (1998, 2000, 2003, 2004) and bronze winner (2001) winner and holder the Cup of the country (2006).
