Levon Julfalakyan: it was very nice to fight for fans

Armenia came 3rd in the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup 2010 which finished in Yerevan on February 14. Iran won gold medals, Turkey came the second.



As Levon Julfalakyan, Olympic champion and head coach of Armenian national team told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, they had the opportunity to reach the finals. “In fighting Iran we lost in 60 kg and 66 kg w/c. However, in the 60 kg weight category the referees withheld several points for our wrestler,'' he said.



Julfalakyan also thanked the fans, who inspired the athletes: “It gave them strength, and we were very pleased to fight for the public''.



He also said he has not yet decided the composition of the Armenian national team, which will travel to the European Championships taking place in Baku between April 13 and 18.
