FC Banants, currently in Antalya (Turkey), held the second control game as a preparation for the upcoming season. The opponent of Banants was Rijeka Club, playing in Croatia Premier league. The match ended 0:0. As the official website of the club wrote, heavy rain and gale-force wind prevented Banants to held trainings two days before the match. FC Banats was founded on January 20, 1992 in Abovyan town (Kotayk marz) by an Armenian Entrepreneur Sargis Israelyan in name of his native village Banants (now Bayan) located in Azerbaijan.\r\n\r\nBanants became the vice champions of Armenia in years 1992, 2003, 2006, 2007 and won Armenian Cup in 1992 and 2007.
