Armenia’ banking industry records best performance in CIS and Eastern Europe in 2009

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’ banking industry records best performance among CIS and Eastern Europe in 2009, Arthur Javadyan , chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia told a press conference in the city of Dilijan (Tavush region of Armenia).

"This was also reflected by recent international reports testifying that Armenia’ financial system, and in particular the banking industry are in a stable state, are the most transparent and have the potential to face the challenges of the crisis that," he added. According to experts’estimations, Armenia is in the final stage of overcoming the financial and economic crisis.
