Czech Republic attaches importance to Armenia’s participation in Eastern Partnership

PanARMENIAN.Net - Czech Prime Minister Jan Fischer said that his country attaches importance to Armenia’s participation in the Eastern Partnership, as it aspires towards Europe.

“We believe that this program will have a consecutive nature,” Mr. Fischer said during the May 17 joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Tigran Sargsyan.

The Czech delegation led by the Prime Minister will be in Armenia on May 17 and 18. During his visit, Jan Fischer will participate in an Armenian-Czech business-forum, as well as will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Speaker of the RA parliament Hovik Abrahamyan.

Besides, a meeting of the Czech Prime with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II is scheduled.

Jan Fischer will visit Tsitsernakaberd to lay a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
