Turkish Prime Minister coordinated Freedom Flotilla

PanARMENIAN.Net - The report prepared by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center based on evidences of the “humanitarian flotilla” participants suggests that the voyage was sanctioned by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the report, IHH members’ testimony revealed the ties between the organization and Turkish ruling elite, specifically, PM Erdogan.

Besides, the report says that Erdogan was coordinating the entire preparation process of the IHH “peacekeeping” mission. Meanwhile, Erdogan needed the action to strengthen his political influence inside Turkey.

The report said while most of Mavi Marmara's passengers were humanitarian volunteers who underwent security checks before boarding the ship in Antalya in Turkey, a group of IHH activists had boarded the ship in an Istanbul port without examination. The report also noted that this refers to a group of trained fighters who initially were ready for compulsory resistance to Israelis, IzRus reported.
