Johannesburg’s Soccer City hosts 2010 FIFA World Cup opening

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, Johannesburg’s Soccer City hosted the opening of 2010 football World Cup.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the culmination of a qualification process that began in August 2007 and involved 204 of the 208 FIFA national teams.

Matches between the eight groups (A through H), begin on June 11. The first match of the World Cup will be held between South Africa and Mexico.

The final game for the championship will is due on July 11.
