Vardan Minasyan: FC Pyunik did not use its all abilities in matches with FC Partizan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 21, Yerevan hosted the return match of FC Pyunik and FC Partizan (Serbia) in the second qualification round of the UEFA Champions League, during which Pyunik was defeated by Partizan 0:1.

Chief Coach of Partizan Alexander Stanojevic said that he is happy that his team won the two matches to advance to the next round.

“We were facing difficulties for the first 15 minutes of the match, due to temperature, but managed to adapt to it. Meanwhile, the team’s victory is very important for the Serbian football,” Stanojevic told a press conference in Yerevan.

For his part, Chief Coach of Pyunik Vardan Minasyan said that his team did not manage to display its all abilities in the two matches. “All members of the team should do their utmost to celebrate victory in such matches and not 7-8 sportsmen, like at Armenia’s championship,” noted Minasyan.

Minasyan was not happy with the performance of two newcomers – Edgar Manucharyan and Hovhannes Goharyan.
