Armenian national women’s team developed tactic plan to resist Portugal

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian national women’s team developed a tactic plan to resist Portugal in FIFA World Cup 2011 qualifier to be played in Yerevan on August 25.

“We have held trainings and studied our rivals’ style. Portuguese are smart and strong but we will try to withstand,” chief coach Vagharshak Aslanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

In the first match, Armenia suffered a 0:7 defeat by Portugal and now bottom Group 7 standings. Portuguese hold the 3rd position with 9 points.
