PanARMENIAN.Net - Slovak national team will arrive in Yerevan on October 6 for a EURO 2012 qualifier against Armenia scheduled for October 8 in Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.

“We try to win each match,” Slovakia coach Vladimir Weiss told reporters. “We respect the rivals who were defeated by Ireland and played in a draw with Macedonia. Armenians are quick and have good halfbacks.”

The following players are included in the Slovak team:

Goalkeepers: Jan Mucha (Everton), Dusan Permis (Dundee United), Martin Dubravka (Zilina)

Defenders: Peter Pekarik (VfL Wolfsburg), Martin Skrtel (Liverpool), Tomas Hubocan (Zenit Petrohrad), Kornel Salata (Slovan Bratislava), Radoslav Zabavnik (Mainz), Mario Pecalka (Zilina)

Midfielders: Miroslav Karhan (Mainz), Juraj Kucka (Sparta Prague), Zdeno Strba (Skoda Xanthi), Kamil Kopunek (Saturn Ramenskoje), Marek Hamsik (Napoli), Marek Sapara (Ankaragucu), Vladimir Weiss (Rangers)
