Human Rights Defender of Armenia leaves for BrusselsNovember 15, 2010 - 18:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 15-17, Armenia’sOmbudsman Armen Harutyunyan will be in Brussels on an official visit. Armen Harutyunyan will meet with European Commission’s Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Gunnar Wiegand, Chair of the Human Rights Subcommittee of the European Parliament Heidi Hautala and EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby. Besides, Harutyunyan is scheduled to meet with Bulgarian politician, member of the European parliament Andrey Kovatchev, as well as Chairman of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia Milan Cabrnoch. As part of the visit, Harutyunyan will address a special meeting of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, the press service of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia reported.
