Azerbaijan works towards privatization of Russia-Armenia gas pipeline Georgian section

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev expressed the intention to continue works towards privatization of the Georgian section of Russia-Armenia gas pipeline.

As he noted, negotiations with Georgian government and Oil & Gas corporation are now in progress. “Azerbaijan will use the pipeline to export gas to Black Sea shores,” he said.

Georgia has already removed the gas pipeline from the list of its strategic projects, APA reports.
