Erdogan's remarks came as tens of thousands of people met in the heart of Cairo Tuesday for a mass demonstration of unceasing demands for the end of 30-year President Hosni Mubarak rule. "Give an ear to people's outcry and humanistic demands. Meet people's demand for change without any hesitation," Erdogan urged the Egyptian government in his speech at a meeting of his ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party, which was aired also by some Arabic TV channels. "I would like to make it clear here. You should take the first step for peace, security and stability of Egypt without giving any chance for exploiters, evil circles and those who have dark scenarios on Egypt," Erdogan said. "You should take steps that could satisfy the people." Erdogan also said that freedoms cannot be delayed in today's world and that it would be very hard for countries to see a bright future if there is domestic turbulence and disagreement, AA reported.
