Electric power expenditures to reduce by 4 times in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative (UN RC/UNDP RR) in Armenia Dafina Gercheva discussed cooperation opportunities, as well as boosting and developing bilateral relations.

Gercheva briefed Karapetyan on a program on energy saving in the system of outside lighting, which will be submitted to the Global Ecological Fund for financing.

Due to the program, according to experts’ calculations, electric power expenditures will reduce by four times in Yerevan.

Karapetyan also hailed the program presented by Gercheva, which aims to make Yerevan more attractive from the point of view of tourism, the press service of Yerevan Mayor’s Office reported.
