ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN RELATIONS OF "REALLY EQUAL NATURE," ARMENIAN LEADER SAID

Armenian president Robert Kocharian stated in an interview to "Izvestia" Russian newspaper. In his words, economic factors and consideration to each other's interests also became leading ones in relations between Armenia and Russia. First of all the president considered necessary to note the broad cooperation in the sphere of energy and bank technologies. "There are over 600 enterprises with Russian capital participation in Armenia today," - he noted. In the leader's opinion, Russia is the strategically most important partner for Armenia. "Never before we have been so close on the widest range of issues," - Robert Kocharian emphasized.
