Aronian keeps lead at Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess Tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Levon Aronian defeated 1,5:0,5 Vladimir Kramnik of Russia in round 9 of the 20th Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess Tournament.

The Armenian grandmaster tops the standings with 13 points, followed by Norway’s Magnus Carlsen (12 points) and India’s Viswanathan Anand (9.5 points).

In round 10, Aronian will face Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria.
