Vardan Militosyan and Razmik Ortetsyan represented Armenia in 69kg weight category at Lima-hosted World Youth Weightlifting Championships.The sportsmen gained 4th and 8th places respectively, having lifted 281 and 267 kg in snatch and clean & jerk combination.

Armenian weightlifter Razmik Hunanyan, representing Russia, won the championship gold with combined 288 kg.

Mher Mikaelyan, Mher Poghosyan and Olympics bronze winner Gor Minasyan will perform in 85, 94, +94kg weight categories.
