Armenia supports CFE implementation

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE member states must refrain from hate and military rhetoric, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia stated.

As Arman Kirakossian stressed at Yerevan-hosted international conference, titled CSTO and South Caucasus: Prospects of Peace and Security in the Region, sustainable conflict settlement might require serious compromise. “Thus, the main task of the leaders of conflicting parties would be to prepare the population to complicated decisions.”

According to Kirakossian, Armenia supports implementation of Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE).

In this connection, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed concern over the facts of regular violation of arms control obligations, fraught with unforeseen consequences.
