David Nalbandian drops to 24th in ATP rankings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Argentina’s David Nalbandian dropped one position (1425 points) to find himself 24rd in the men’s tennis rankings released by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) on June 6, 2011.

Nalbandian has been handed a wildcard for the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club in June. The Argentine, 29, has missed much of the season due to injury and will skip the French Open because of a virus that has caused him to lose weight. The Aegon Championships takes place between June 6-12.

Rolland Garros 2011 winner Spaniard Rafael Nadal continues to top the rankings with 12070 points, followed by Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 12025 points) and Roger Federer (Switzerland, 9230 points).
