Aram Simonyan re-elected as Yerevan State University rectorJune 21, 2011 - 17:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 21, Aram Simonyan was re-elected as Yerevan State University (YSU) rector. During YSU council session, led by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, 60 voted “for” and 7 “against” Simonyan’s candidacy. Following his re-election, YSU rector briefed the participants on reforms planned in university entrance exams, as well as the scheduled opening of YSU basic college to operate in Armenian regions. President Sargsyan congratulated YSU rector on his re-election, expressing hope for further achievements of the university.
