Armenia-Iran strategic agreements to be signed at Ahmadinejad’s visit to Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - A number of documents on Armenia-Iran strategic projects will be signed during the oncoming visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Armenia, National Security Council (NSC) Secretary stated.

According to Artur Baghdasaryan, negotiations on construction of an NPP in Armenian town of Meghri as well as Iran-Armenia pipeline are in progress.

“These projects are of utmost important to us; initial agreement has been reached. Strategic projects of this scale require time,” Baghdasaryan said.
