Canada withdraws its troops from Afghanistan![]() July 7, 2011 - 20:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 7, Canada has completed officially its military mission in Afghanistan as part of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), according to RIA Novosti. The document on transference of Canadian responsibility for provision of security in Kandahar to U.S. was signed on Kandahar Air Field military base. Canadians started their military mission in Afghan South province Kandahar in 2002, 157 military men have been killed since then, including a diplomat, two officials from non-commercial organizations and a journalist. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
