Elina Danielyan second bottom in Grand Prix standings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Rostov, Russia, hosted the 7th round of FIDE Grand Prix series on August 9.

Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielyan, who is not in her best condition during this tournament, suffered another defeat by Antuaneta Stefanova of Bulgaria after which she dropped to 11th place.

Hou Yifan of China continues to top the Grand Prix standings with 6,5 from total 7 points. Yifan is followed by Kateryna Lahno (Ukraine) and Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia).

August 10 is a day-off. On August 11, Danielyan will be vying with Indian chess player Hampy Coneru, who is presently 5th in the standings.
