  Turkey kills around 100 Kurdish guerrillasAugust 23, 2011 - 15:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey's military says its air strikes on suspected Kurdish rebel targets in northern Iraq have killed around 100 guerrillas. According to AP, the military said in a statement posted on its website Tuesday, August 23, that some 80 other rebels were injured in the raids. The military said its warplanes have been striking at suspected rebel positions across the border in Iraq since last Wednesday.   Top stories Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. In 2023, the Azerbaijani government will increase the country’s defense budget by more than 1.1 billion manats ($650 million). The bill, published on Monday, is designed to "eliminate the shortcomings of an unreasonably broad interpretation of the key concept of "compatriot". The earthquake caused a temporary blackout, damaged many buildings and closed a number of rural roads.
