PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied a game against Hukaru Nakamura of the United States in round 3 of Sao Paulo Grand Slam Final Masters and dropped to the second place with 5 points.

Vasili Ivanchuk of Ukraine defeated Viswanathan Anand of India to take the lead with 7 points. Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain) scored a victory over Magnus Carlsen (Norway).

In round 4, Aronian will face Ivanchuk.
