Nalbandian to face Dodig in 2011 Rakuten Open round 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - David Nalbandian, Argentine world No.64, outlasted Lukas Rosol, Czech world No.77, as the two clashed out to play the 1st round match of the 2011 Rakuten Open in Tokyo, bettor.com reports.

With the blue hard court at Ariake Coliseum, Tokyo, Japan cleaned up, the Argentine finished off the match in style, ousting his challenger 6-1, 6-1, in just 49 minutes and walked off with the win.

"Week after week I'm feeling better and playing better," said Nalbandian, whose ranking has slipped to 64th after groin and leg surgery in March. "I played a great match."

In the next round, he will face Croatia’s Ivan Dodig, who ousted eighth-seeded Juan Monaco of Argentina.
