Iranian citizen fails to traffic drugs in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 13, 5 p.m., the officers of Main Police Department on Combat Against Organized Crime and Kanaker – Zeytun Community's Police Department detained Armenian citizen Hakob G., 33 and Iranian citizen Silvan M., 40 on suspicion of illegal purchase, storage and sale of drugs.

The suspects' search revealed a syringe with 0,3 ml of brown liquid and 90 pills of methadone, which, the Iranian said, were meant to be sold to Hakob G.

Confiscated drugs were sent for examination. The investigation is under way.
