Armenia finishes second at Youth Chess Olympiad

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia, the 2010 winner, finished second at the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad in Izmit, Turkey, scoring a 3,5:0,5 victory over Kyrgyzstan.

Karen Grigoryan, Tigran Harutyunyan and Arman Melikyan won their games while Hovhannes Gabuzyan played in a draw.

Armenia has gained 28,5 points to become the runner-up, following Russia, which won with 29 points.
