Expert: Armenian economy ready to resist Turkish expansion

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opening of Armenian-Turkish border poses no threats to Armenian economy, according to the Chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, Arsen Ghazaryan.

The expert noted that Armenian markets have long resisted the expansion of Turkish goods.

“Armenian economy, the private sector are ready to resist and compete with Turkey,” Ghazaryan said.

On November 22, Yerevan hosted the first day of Armenian-Turkish business forum with 50 participants from various parts of Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara, Malatya, Igdir, Kars, Diyarbakır, etc.)
