Samvel Ter-Sahakyan keeps lead at World Youth Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Youth Chess Championship is ongoing in Caldas Novas, Brazil.

In round 6, Armenia’s U-18 player Samvel Ter-Sahakyan beat Slovakia’s Tamas Petenyi to retain tournament leadership.

Armenia’s Robert Aghasaryan lost to Deysi Cori (Peru) to drop to 27th place with 3,5 points.

In the 7th round, Ter-Sahakyan will face runner-up Vladimir Fedoseev (5 points); Agasaryan will play vs. Javier Monroy (Bulgaria).
