Azubalis: ODIHR observer mission’s presence at State Duma election positive shift

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE gives positive assessment to Russia’s State Duma election.

As the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis told a news conference in Vilnius, “the presence of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) observers at the poll after an 8-year break is already a success in itself.”

“I can’t comment on the results of the elections before publication of the observer committee report in 2 months,” PanARMENIAN.Net reporter from Vilnius quoted Azubalis saying.

The Foreign Minister positively assessed election procedures, noting, however, that media resources were not used to the full.
