Expert: no friendly ties between Armenia and Turkey possible

PanARMENIAN.Net - No friendly ties between Armenia and Turkey possible, an Armenian expert said.

“Armenia and Turkey may establish diplomatic relations in future, but they will never become friends,” Ruben Melkonyan said.

According to him, Turkey’s relations with other states proves that it’s a problematic country, the most vivid example being Turkey-Syria ties.

“Within a week an excellent relationship turned into hostile while Turkey claims adherence to “zero problems with neighbors” policy,” Melkonyan stated.
