OSCE MG co-chairs may bring closer conflict side positions

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs may bring closer positions of conflicting parties in the future; however they will not be able to settle the conflict instead of them, OSCE MG outgoing French co-chair said.

As Bernard Fassier told a resulting press-conference on completion of his diplomatic mission, atmosphere of trust should be created between the conflict sides.

Mr. Fassier further ruled out a military solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, bringing Franco-German conflict as an example, during which the French side managed to regain its land, paying a heavy price.

He added that a possible military solution to the conflict will result in a new bloodshed and new refugee flows.
