PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian beat Italy’s Fabiano Caruana in the 9th round of Tata Steel Chess Tournament ongoing in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.

Aronian is leading the tournament with 5,5 points, with the game between his main contender Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and Russia's Sergey Karjakin under way.
