DEFENSE MINISTERS OF ARMENIA AND UKRAINE SIGNED COOPERATION PROGRAM FOR 2004

PanARMENIAN.Net - Defense ministers of Armenia and Ukraine Serge Sargsian and Yevgeny Marchuk have signed a program of military cooperation for 2004 in Kiev. The document provides for periodical conferences, continuing the dialogue on regional security and mutual visits of military delegations, "ITAR-TASS" Russian agency reported. At a meeting with journalists after the signing of the document heads of the military departments of the two countries noted the urge of Armenia and Ukraine to cooperation in material and technical equipment of the Armed Forces and training military detachments for participation in peacekeeping operations.
