AZERIS PICKET THEIR EMBASSY IN MOSCOW

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeris, "being forced to live in Russia," hold a picket in front of the building of the Azeri embassy in Moscow. Movement against Tyranny in Azerbaijan is the organizer of the meeting. As a press release spread by the movement says, the action is being held "due to an unbearable human rights record in Azerbaijan." This is not the first protest action Azeris hold in Moscow, "Regnum" Russian agency reported. The first picket was on September 20 in front of the building of the European Community mission, the second was on September 22 in front of the mission of the office of UN high commissioner for refugees in Moscow. The action initiators say that their purpose is "to call attention of the European Community to human rights problems in Azerbaijan and express their disagreement with the passive stand taken by the European Community countries over the issue."
