Armenian weightlifters disqualification confirmed

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) confirmed disqualification of Armenian weightlifters Elen Grigoryan and Gevorg Poghosyan.

According to previous reports, they will face a 4-year disqualification.

Poghosyan’s three bronze medals will be given to Aurimas Didzbalis (Lithuania) and Andrey Demanov (Russia).

Anatoly Mushik of Israel was also tested positive for doping use. His bronze award in clean & jerk will be given to Edgar Gevorgyan of Armenia.

Ukrainian Olga Korobka was also disqualified. The three bronze awards she won in Paris will be given to Mariam Usman and Hripsime Khurshudyan.
