Armenian team wins off-road driving contest in GeorgiaFebruary 28, 2012 - 16:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian participants gained victory at Bakuriani 2012 international off-road driving contest in Georgia on February 24-26. Jeep-Trial class competition was held in 3 categories - Standard, Extreme and Monster, Armentel's press service reports. Armenian driver Gary Gasparyan on Mitsubishi Pajero 3 took the lead in Standard category. Ludwig Ermazyan on Jeep Wrangler was the best from Armenia in Extreme category, ranking 4th among 24 teams. Georgian participants took all other prizes. The contest brought together 38 teams from Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. “Adrenalin” Extreme Sports Association of Armenia and ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) company supported participation of the Armenian team in the contest.
