ARMENIA CAN PARTICIPATE IN POSTWAR RECONSTRUCTION OF IRAQ

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian companies can take part in the postwar reconstruction of Iraq, today's statement of the US Embassy in Armenia says. According to the statement, "Armenian entrepreneurs can either immediately deal with the Iraqi state and private companies or become subcontractors within the frames of agreements of the US government or they can serve as purveyors of the federal forces". The statement urges the foreign companies to sign an agreement with US Agency for International Development and the engineering corps of the US Defense Department for fulfilling programs on reconstruction of Iraq. The companies, which intend to do small and middle business, should deposit $100 000 in any Iraqi bank.
