Armenia’s annual economic activity index makes 6,3%

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s economic activity index in February 2012 totaled 6,3% growing by 4,9% as compared to January 2012, according to the National Statistical Service of Armenia.

Inflation in January 2012 comprised 4,8%, with economic activity index grossing 5,6% in January – February 2012 against the same period in 2011.

In February 2012, consumer prices grew by 3%, with 0,9% deflation recorded on monthly basis. Meanwhile in January-February 2012 inflation rate increased by 3,9% as compared with the same period in 2011.

The national budget envisages 4,2% economic activity growth, and 4±1,5% inflation for 2012.
