ARMENIAN FM MET WITH CILICIA VESSEL CREW

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister (FM) Vartan Oskanian yesterday met with captain of Armenian vessel Cilicia Karen Balayan, writer Zori Balayan and other crew members, who have returned from the second stage of the their tour, reported the Armenian MFA Press Service. In the course of their conversation the sailors told the FM about their voyage. They said they were satisfied with the cooperation with diplomatic missions of various countries and local Armenian communities, owing to which a number of problems were solved during their trip. V. Oskanian appreciated the role of the extraordinary tour and the courage and resoluteness of the sailing ship crew. He said that Cilicia has become a symbol of Armenia. He thanked the sailors for their brave initiative and wished good luck in the final stage of their voyage.
