Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov Arriving in Yerevan Today

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov is arriving in Yerevan today for the participation in the festivities dedicated to the 2787-th birthday of the Armenian capital city. During the visit Yuri Luzhkov will take part in the ceremony of laying the capsule in the foundation of the House of Culture, Science and Business of Moscow, which will be built near the Yerevan City Administration on the territory of 3.5 thousand square km. To note, the $7 million project is being financed by the Russian party. The Mayor of Moscow is as well expected to lay a wreath to the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims. In the evening a gala night with the participation of Russian performers will take place in the Big Philharmonic Hall after Aram Khachaturian. Yuri Luzhkov and Mayor of Yerevan Yervand Zakharian will be present at the concert. Late at night Yuri Luzhkov will depart for Moscow.
