Opposition march launches in Yerevan, Mashtots Avenue blocked

PanARMENIAN.Net - A march of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) was launched in Yerevan. Opposition supporters blocked the Mashtots Avenue. Further, rally participants set off to Myasnikyan monument, a site of 2008 March riots.

Several thousand people are participating in the march, PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the ground.

According to rumours, the police has detained several demonstrators. However, the press service of Yerevan Police denied the information.
