Participants in Armenian Basketball Championship selectedFebruary 26, 2009 - 16:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Basketball teams-participants in the championships of Armenia among men and women have been selected. As compared with last year, the number of men teams has increased up to seven. Two new teams have been included on the list of participants: Vanadzor and Artik teams. Fima will not take part in the tournament this year. Five women teams will take part in the championship. Only one change has been made in the list of the participants as compared with last year i.e. Ararat has left the championship. A second team from Gyumri of the same name compensated the loss in number. Armenian Basketball Federation press-service told PanARMENIAN.Net the championships will start in April, but the exact dates haven't been set yet.
