King Arthur takes aim at a Pavlik unification fight

PanARMENIAN.Net - Unbeaten IBF middleweight champion "King" Arthur Abraham will return on June 27th to defend against Mahir Oral (25-1-2, 10 KOs) at the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin.

Originally, Abraham was to defend against mandatory challenger Giovanni Lorenzo, however, since no contractual agreement was reached, the IBF approved a voluntary defense against Oral at their convention in Panama City.

Meanwhile, a fight with WBC / WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik is on Arthur's mind.

"We are ready to fight Pavlik at any time and absolutely everywhere. Arthur would even come to his home town. If Pavlik and his people are really interested in coming to Germany, they should let us know officially. We would be more than happy to make an attractive offer," said his manager Wilfried Sauerland.
