Aghasi Aghasyan entitled European champion in weightlifting up to 23 years

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian weightlifter Agasi Aghasyan (w /c 77 kg) at the first ever European Championship in athletics under 23 years, raising a total combination of 337 kg (150 - dash, 187 - push), won the title of European champion, contributing the second gold medal into Armenia's team treasury. 



The second Armenian representative in the tournament up to the 77 kg weight category Araik Mirzoyan, raising 321 kg in total (148 +173), took the fifth place. 



The Ukrainian Yuri Chikida (333 kg) won the Silver medal in this weight category.



The Armenian team left for Vladislavovo (Poland).
