David Nalbandian marks his return to Copa Telmex with victory

Argentina's tennis player of Armenian descent David Nalbandian made a winning return to the ATP Tour on Tuesday by beating Potito Starace at the Copa Telmex in Buenos Aires. The former world number three, who had been out of action since undergoing hip surgery in May, won the first set of his first-round clash on Monday before torrential rain ended the day's play. He completed a 6-2 7-6 (7/2) victory over the Italian on Tuesday to secure his place in round two, The Press Association reported.
