Nalbandian reached the Wimbledon final in 2002, losing to Lleyton Hewitt of Australia. The Argentine has been slowed by the hamstring problem for a month, and has been plagued by injuries for a year. He had hip surgery a year ago and returned to the ATP tour in February, but withdrew from his first tournament back with a right-leg injury.
