Mika men defeat St. Petersburg in European Chess Club Cup round 3

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Mika men’s club defeated St. Petersburg in round 3 of the European Chess Club Cup in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

With all games ending in a draw, Levon Aronian scored the decisive victory for Mika, which is currently 3rd with 13,5 points.

Mika women’s club suffered first defeat by Samaia (Georgia), dropping to 4th place with 8,5 points.

In the next round, Armenian men’s and women’s clubs will rival Bihac (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and BAS Beograd (Serbia) respectively.
